I’m excited and honored to be included in the first issue of Tiny Atlas Quarterly, a new project lead by photographer Emily Nathan. This lifestyle/travel magazine features rich, beautiful stories that show readers how it feels to be in the places you are interested in going as well as all the information you need to get there. Look out for my winter story in the Swiss Alps, and discover other beautiful adventures shot by photographers that will fuel your wanderlust!

A summer evening with Jule at Stadtteilgarten Schillerkiez, where community gardens are growing between the runways of the abandoned Tempelhof airport. If you’re visiting Berlin this Spring or Summer, you should definitely wander in this amazing garden. Follow them on Facebook.

After spending a few weeks traveling to San Francisco, Thailand, France and Switzerland, nothing makes me happier than being back in my favorite city. I love sunny winter days in New York.

Here’s a fun side project that I’m excited to share. While in Paris, I had the chance to help and photograph Petite Maman‘s annual sample sale fundraiser. This nonprofit was founded two years ago by Florence Claude and her group of friends. After the birth of her first child, Florence became increasingly affected by the situation of less fortunate mothers and overall women’s issues. She wanted to give back and help French families in need, and that’s when Petite Maman was born.

Their action is threefold: 1/ to collect and donate second-hand kids clothes, with the help of generous parents and a growing network of participating retail stores; 2/ to assemble and donate “baby starter kits”, with the support of baby products manufacturers; 3/ to mentor unemployed mothers to help their job search.

Within two years, Petite Maman has collaborated with NGOs and local government, secured partnerships with high-profile brands, received press from major media outlets and took on new volunteers to develop their activities. They’ve already helped many families in need, and while it’s still a small organization, it has a big heart and big ambitions. Congrats to Florence & team for all their hard work and achievements!

At their annual Braderie (sample sale), families could buy brand names clothing and items at discount prices. All proceeds from the sale are invested back into the charity to keep funding new projects. The event was held at Le Comptoir General, a unique and charming event space by the Canal St Martin. While grown-ups were shopping for a good deal (and a good cause!), many volunteers were busy entertaining the littles ones: blowing balloons, decorating cookies, creating beautiful makeup… A fun day for everyone and a great success for Petite Maman!
